I’ve always loved design, aviation and making things.
I’m drawn to old military technology and industrial equipment—not because it’s nostalgic, but because it was designed with purpose. From the glowing Nixie tubes of the 1950s to the blinking LEDs, switches and rugged hardware of the Cold War era, I love products where every light, dial, switch and indicator exists for a reason. That philosophy continues to inspire the products I create today.
After spending more than 20 years designing digital products and user experiences, I found myself wanting to create something physical. Over the last few years I’ve taught myself 3D modelling, 3D printing, electronics and software development, discovering just how rewarding it is to take an idea from a concept on a screen to a finished product you can hold in your hands.
Today I design the hardware, write the software, create the 3D models, prototype new ideas and test every product myself. Working this way gives me the freedom to experiment, refine designs and continually improve every product.
VectorZero exists because I enjoy creating products that don’t already exist—products inspired by great design from every era, built using modern technology and designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
I don’t have ambitions to build hundreds of products. I’d rather spend my time creating a small collection of products that are thoughtfully designed, well built and genuinely enjoyable to own.
